Teachers Therapy Group

Sundays, 15:00 – 16:30

Currently Open For New Members. Spaces Are Limited.

In today’s classrooms, conversations about mental health are more open than ever. Children are being taught how to name their emotions, to regulate themselves, and to support one another. This is a powerful and welcome change—and one we wholeheartedly support.

But what about the adults guiding them?

Teachers and teaching assistants hold a role that is both incredibly meaningful and deeply demanding. You are not only educators but mentors, caregivers, protectors, role models, mediators—and often all at once. You’re expected to meet the needs of individual pupils, manage behaviour, deliver curriculum under pressure, respond to the expectations of parents, children and schools, and somehow still keep a steady face for the children who look up to you.

More than that, there is an unspoken weight that comes with being part of the system responsible for shaping the next generation. Society holds you to a high standard, yet often provides little space for you to be vulnerable, to rest, or to process the emotional toll of your work.

We see that. And we believe you deserve better.

This is why we’re offering a weekly therapy group specifically for teachers and teaching assistants, held by qualified therapists who understand the complexity and intensity of the education profession. It’s a safe, supportive space to speak freely, reflect deeply, and connect with others who get it—without judgement, and without pressure to perform.

And because we know how stretched the profession can be—both emotionally and financially—we’re offering this group at a discounted rate as our way of giving back to those who give so much.

Your mental health matters—not just so you can keep going and not just because you are instrumental in shaping the next generation but because you’re a person in your own right, deserving of care, support, and time to be heard.

How Our Groups Work

Our groups are a little different — and that’s intentional. To create depth, safety, and strong group bonds, each group runs in 12-week cycles and only accepts new members at specific times.
This structure helps everyone feel grounded and part of something shared. Group sizes are kept small, and each stage of the journey has a clear rhythm. You can view currently open groups here.

The Beginning

All our groups meet weekly in 12-week cycles. The first session is about arriving — getting to know each other and setting the tone for the work ahead. After that, the group closes to new members.

The Middle

Over the 12 weeks, the group becomes a place of real connection. Led by qualified therapists, members explore, share, and grow — building trust and finding strength in each other.

The End

At the end of the cycle, the group opens again. Current members can stay or move on, and new members are welcomed in. Then, the next cycle begins — with a new beginning, shaped by what’s come before.
