Testimonials

What Our Group Members Say

Hear from some previous group members about their experience on Being in Psychotherapy groups.

I was a bit apprehensive starting group therapy not sure how it would work . But I found it really helpful, appreciating the build up of the relationships within the group.

I learned the importance of listening…to be listened to and to listen to each other. I found Jacqui and David to be very empathetic  and understanding…kind and gentle.

Former Group Member, 2024

Jacqui and David have adapted to the challenge faced by me, encouraged me to look at myself, guided and challenged my thoughts and beliefs with a positive outcome.

At times I felt challenged, but safe, within the group. This was because of the careful guidance and support I experienced by the therapists.

Ready To Take The First Step?

Joining a group could be the beginning of something beautiful and meaningful in your life. If you’re curious, we’re here to help you find the right space.

How Our Groups Work

Our groups are a little different — and that’s intentional. To create depth, safety, and strong group bonds, each group runs in 12-week cycles and only accepts new members at specific times.
This structure helps everyone feel grounded and part of something shared. Group sizes are kept small, and each stage of the journey has a clear rhythm. You can view currently open groups here.

The Beginning

All our groups meet weekly in 12-week cycles. The first session is about arriving — getting to know each other and setting the tone for the work ahead. After that, the group closes to new members.

The Middle

Over the 12 weeks, the group becomes a place of real connection. Led by qualified therapists, members explore, share, and grow — building trust and finding strength in each other.

The End

At the end of the cycle, the group opens again. Current members can stay or move on, and new members are welcomed in. Then, the next cycle begins — with a new beginning, shaped by what’s come before.
